Requirements
Participants must meet the following inclusion criteria to be eligible for this clinical trial:
- Men and Women 40 to 80 years old
- Must not have a current or former diagnosis of asthma
- Have a COPD diagnosis for at least 1 year
- Have had multiple flare-ups or exacerbations while on maintenance inhaler
- Have been told that you have elevated blood eosinophil (while blood cell) levels
- Smoking status: Current or former cigarette smokers. Former smokers are defined as those who have stopped all smoking (including tobacco, marijuana, or e-cigarettes) for at least 6 months prior to Screening Visit 1
- Health status is further evaluated by reviewing medical history, screening assessments, and visit with physician
About study
The purpose of the study is to determine the safety and tolerability of the study drug in patients with uncontrolled moderate to severe COPD. The study we are currently enrolling in is to find potential treatment options for COPD. Volunteers diagnosed with uncontrolled moderate to severe COPD are needed at this stage of research. This is a research study, and your participation is voluntary. You may stop participating at any time.
