Requirements

Participants must meet the following inclusion criteria to be eligible for this clinical trial:

  • Adults with HIV 
  • Ages 18 to 65  
  • On stable antiretroviral (ARV) treatment for ≥ 12 consecutive months prior to screening, 
  • throughout the duration of study treatment and follow-up / On stable HIV treatment for at least 12 months 
  • Must be generally healthy (no major uncontrolled conditions). 
  • Must not have: 
    • Chronic Hepatitis B 
    • Active Hepatitis C 
    • History of significant serious skin diseae 
    • Significant drug sensitivity or allergy 
    • Previous or current history of bleeding disorder, platelet disorder including unexplained acute or chronic thrombocytopenia 
    • Autoimmune diseases including Type 1 diabetes 
  • Smoking criteria: Must not have used tobacco- or nicotine-containing products 35 days prior to screening and must abstain during study participation. 
  • BMI: 18.5 – 35kg/m2  
  • Health status is further evaluated by reviewing medical history, screening assessments, and visit with physician

About study

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and tolerability of the study drug following both single ascending doses (SAD) and multiple ascending doses (MAD) in people with HIV-1 who are virologically suppressed on antiretroviral treatment. <How the study drug works in people with HIV. The study drug is being developed as a potential treatment for HIV-1. This is a research study, and your participation is voluntary. You may stop participating at any time.
