Requirements
Participants must meet the following inclusion criteria to be eligible for this clinical trial:
- Male & female volunteers, 18 & over
- Adults who are affected by excess weight
- BMI: 30kg/m2 OR 27kg/m2 the presence of 1 or more of the following:
- Hypertension
- Dyslipidemia
- Sleep apnea
- Cardiovascular disease
- HbA1c 6.5%–10.5%
- Have a history of at least 1 self-reported unsuccessful dietary effort to lose body weight Eligibility will be confirmed by the Study Team

About study
Living with type 2 diabetes and excess weight can make it harder to stay healthy over time. Researchers are looking for new treatment options that are effective and easier to fit into everyday life. This study is evaluating an inestigational once-daily oral medication along with healthy lifestyle guidance. What researchers learn may help improve future treatment options for people living with type 2 diabetes and excess weight.
