Principal Investigator: Brigham R. Temple, MD, MBA, FACEP
Brigham R. Temple, MD, MBA, FACEP is the Therapeutic Medical Lead for Trialmed in the Chicago location. Dr. Temple is a board-certified emergency physician and healthcare leader with extensive experience in clinical medicine, physician leadership, and healthcare operations. During his tenure with Endeavor Health, he established the Immediate Care line of service and led its growth to 22 locations across the Chicago area, collectively providing approximately 200,000 patient visits annually. His leadership focused on building and developing clinical teams, expanding access to high-quality acute care, and creating the clinical and operational infrastructure necessary to support a large, integrated Immediate Care network. He developed practices for patient safety, testing and treatment across a wide range of health conditions.
Dr. Temple’s role within Trialmed also represents a return to clinical research, where his career began before medical school. He previously worked for Covance (Corning Besselaar) in clinical research data management, developing systems for Serious Adverse Event reporting, building interfaces that enabled sponsors to track study data in real time, and supporting clinical trial database management. He now returns to clinical research with the added perspective of more than two decades in medicine, bringing together an understanding of clinical trial data and operations with frontline patient care, physician leadership, and healthcare management.
Dr. Temple looks forward to applying these complementary experiences to support clinical development strategies that are scientifically rigorous, operationally practical, and ultimately focused on improving patient care.
