Requirements
Participants must meet the following inclusion criteria to be eligible for this clinical trial:
- Healthy Men and Nonchildbearing Women who are overweight/obese.
- Ages 18 to 55
- Smoking criteria: Must not smoke more than 5 cigarettes or equivalent use of nicotine-containing products daily within 14 days prior to check-in and must abstain during study participation.
- Stable body weight (<5% body weight change) and no participation in a weight reduction program for the 3 months prior to screening.
- Health status is further evaluated by reviewing medical history, screening assessments, and visit with physician

About study
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and tolerability of single ascending doses of the study drug compared with placebo in healthy, normal weight or overweight/obese, adult participants. The study drug is being developed as a potential treatment for obesity/weight loss. This is a research study, and your participation is voluntary. You may stop participating at any time.
