Requirements
Participants must meet the following inclusion criteria to be eligible for this clinical trial:
- Healthy Volunteers
- Ages 18 to 60
- First-generation Japanese (born in Japan, descendant of 4 Japanese grandparents and 2 Japanese parents)
- First-generation Chinese (born in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, or Macau, descendant of 4 Chinese grandparents and 2 Chinese parents)
- Smoking criteria: No tobacco- or nicotine-containing products within 90-days of screening; abstaining from tobacco/nicotine during study participation.
- Qualified participants may receive compensation for time and participation.
- Study includes an 8-night stay and 13 outpatient visits.
- Health status is further evaluated by reviewing medical history, screening assessments, and visit with physician
About study
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and tolerability of the study drug in healthy Japanese and Chinese adults. The study drug is being developed as a potential treatment for asthma. Healthy volunteers without asthma are needed at this stage of research. This is a research study, and your participation is voluntary. You may stop participating at any time.
