About study

Researchers are evaluating an investigational oral GLP-1 medication for adults living with Type 2 diabetes and obesity, or Type 2 diabetes and overweight.

Type 2 diabetes and excess weight often occur together and can affect long-term health. Researchers continue to study new treatment options that may help support blood sugar management, weight management, and overall metabolic health.

This study is evaluating an investigational GLP-1 medication that is taken by mouth once daily. Unlike many GLP-1 medications that require injections, the study medication is an oral tablet. Researchers hope to learn more about its long-term safety, tolerability, and effectiveness when used alongside healthy lifestyle changes.

What are the benefits?

Advance potential treatment options

Every clinical research trial is aimed at getting new therapies to those in need. Some may have immediate results for participants while other are helping shape the future landscape of medicine.

No-cost Healthcare

Clinical trials offer a baseline of health assessments at no-cost to study participants. Many studies offer additional assessments and data that are above the standard of care that you would typically receive from your doctor.

Compensation for participation

Many clinical trials offer financial compensation for participation to help cover the cost of associated time, travel and inconvenience.

Improving the lives of yourself and others

Lack of participation in the research phase is a leading cause in delay of effective treatments to the public. No matter the benefit to you, your participation in a clinical trial is key to getting new therapies to the world.
