About study

Researchers are evaluating a once-daily oral medication for adults who may be at increased risk of developing weight-related health conditions.

Many people have early warning signs such as elevated blood sugar, elevated blood pressure, or elevated cholesterol levels long before more serious health conditions develop. Researchers are studying whether earlier intervention may help reduce the risk of progression to future weight-related complications.

This Phase 3 clinical research study is evaluating an investigational oral GLP-1 medication taken once daily. Unlike some GLP-1 medications that require injections, the study medication is taken by mouth.

The goal of this research is to better understand whether the study medication, when combined with healthy lifestyle changes, may help reduce the risk of developing future weight-related health conditions while supporting long-term weight and metabolic health.

What Does Participation Involve?
Participants may receive:
• Study-related evaluations at no cost
• Study medication and health monitoring
• Regular health assessments throughout the study
• Compensation for time and travel, if eligible

This is a long-term research study designed to better understand weight and metabolic health over time. Participation may last approximately 3 years, and the study team will work with participants to explain the visit schedule and study requirements before enrollment.

Participation is voluntary, and you may leave the study at any time.

What are the benefits?

Advance potential treatment options

Every clinical research trial is aimed at getting new therapies to those in need. Some may have immediate results for participants while other are helping shape the future landscape of medicine.

No-cost Healthcare

Clinical trials offer a baseline of health assessments at no-cost to study participants. Many studies offer additional assessments and data that are above the standard of care that you would typically receive from your doctor.

Compensation for participation

Many clinical trials offer financial compensation for participation to help cover the cost of associated time, travel and inconvenience.

Improving the lives of yourself and others

Lack of participation in the research phase is a leading cause in delay of effective treatments to the public. No matter the benefit to you, your participation in a clinical trial is key to getting new therapies to the world.
