Requirements
Participants must meet the following inclusion criteria to be eligible for this clinical trial:
- Adults age 75 years or older,
- OR
- adults age 18 years or older with COPD and/or congestive heart failure (CHF)
- New or worsening respiratory symptoms within 72 hours
- Positive for RSV at or before Screening
- This is a research study, and your participation is voluntary. You may stop participating at any time.
- Study related screenings and assessments provided at no cost. Health status is further evaluated by reviewing medical history, screening assessments, and visit with physician.
About study
The purpose of the study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of an investigational oral treatment compared with placebo in adults with RSV who are at high risk for severe disease.
