Principal Investigator: Karen Faulkner, MBBS
Dr. Karen Faulkner is a research physician with a background as a higher specialty doctor in emergency medicine at Birmingham’s Major Trauma Centre. She became a principal investigator in 2017, specializing in cardiometabolic studies, ATTR amyloidosis, and vaccine research. Additionally, she serves as the training lead for research physicians in the UK. Outside of work, Dr. Faulkner enjoys escape rooms and musical theater.
