Requirements
Participants must meet the following inclusion criteria to be eligible for this clinical trial:
- Volunteers with COPD
- 40 to 75 years old
- Body Mass Index (BMI) of 19.5-32 kg/m2
- Current smokers, non-smokers and former smokers are eligible
- Former smokers must have a history of cigarette smoking of ≥10 pack years at screening
- Must be on stable treatment of long-acting muscarinic antagonists (LAMA) and/or long-acting beta-agonists (LABA)
- Health status is further evaluated by reviewing medical history, screening assessments, and visit with physician
- Available and willing to commit to study visit structure – You will be asked to return for 15 outpatient follow-up visits
About study
The purpose of the study is to test the safety and tolerability of different doses of a study drug used to treat COPD. The study drug is being developed as a potential treatment for COPD. This is a research study, and your participation is voluntary. You may stop participating at any time.
