Requirements
Participants must meet the following inclusion criteria to be eligible for this clinical trial:
- Men and Women 40 to 80 years old
- Must not have a current or former diagnosis of asthma
- Have a COPD diagnosis for at least 1 year
- Have had multiple flare-ups or exacerbations while on maintenance inhaler
- Are a current or former smoker
- You may have been told that you have elevated blood eosinophil (while blood cell) levels
- Smoking status: Current or former cigarette smokers. Former smokers are defined as those who have stopped all smoking (including tobacco, marijuana, or e-cigarettes) for at least 6 months prior to Screening Visit 1
- Health status is further evaluated by reviewing medical history, screening assessments, and visit with physician
