Requirements

Participants must meet the following inclusion criteria to be eligible for this clinical trial:

  • Must have a BMI of ≥ 25.0 kg/m2 and a diagnosis of Type 2 diabetes (T2DM)
  • Must have an HbA1c between ≥ 7% and ≤ 10.5%
  • Your T2DM must be managed with:
    • diet and exercise alone
    • metformin alone
    • SGLT-2 alone
    • Metformin and SGLT-2 in combination
  • Must have a history of at least one unsuccessful diet and exercise effort to lose weight

BMI: 25+
Smoker or non-smoker

This study is enrolling adults who are overweight and diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes with the intent to assess the effects of an investigational medication on body weight and blood sugar levels.
