Requirements

Participants must meet the following inclusion criteria to be eligible for this clinical trial:

  • Adults ages 50 to 64 not considered to be at high risk of severe COVID-19.
  • Smoking criteria: Must not be a current or former smoker
  • BMI: Under 30 kg/m2
  • No Type 1 or Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus 
  • No Heart Conditions (heart failure, coronary artery disease (CAD), or cardiomyopathies) 
  • No Chronic Lung Disease (COPD, interstitial lung disease, pulmonary embolism, pulmonary hypertension)  
  • No mental health conditions such as schizophrenia, mood disorders, major depression
  • Must not be taking corticosteroids or other immunosuppressive medications  
  • Must not have had a COVID-19 vaccination in the past 90 days 
  • Individuals who have never received a COVID-19 vaccine are welcome

What’s the commitment?

Outpatient visits are booked to accommodate assessments in the study schedule. These visits typically last 1–3 hours, but may vary per study.

Scheduled phone calls are used to complete certain assessments remotely. These calls may involve checking on your well-being, reviewing study-related logs (like dosing or assessment diaries), or collecting additional information needed for research.
